Rutgers C/O 2021 Admissions/Discussion

My son got into Pharmacy undergrad! He is at school and does not know. Had to share with those who know why I am alone in my house screaming!

@Njmom224

Congrats to him! If that’s his first choice, get some balloons and play some loud, cheesy music when he reaches home.

@Njmom224 Congrats! My son does not get as excited about this college process as I do. So mostly I am alone doing happy dances. :slight_smile:

@sven434 anything yet?

@Njmom224

Congrats! What were his stats?

@tiffhenriques nope

same

Here’s the link to find our about scholarships (although the scholarship letters are not available yet). https://financialaid.rutgers.edu/information-for-future-rutgers-students/incoming-student-portal/

I just got an invitation to the Honor’s College from both their SAS and pharmacy schools on my email! No info on merit aid yet though, hope that comes in soon.

Just got an email that I’ve been accepted to the Honors College! It also says :

“Merit scholarship and financial aid information will be sent directly by the Office of Financial Aid within the next week.”

Are they sent out all at once or in groups?

Accepted to Honors College for both SAS and Engineering!

Same!! @panic2017

Oh boy… Was I rejected from honors?

Accepted to Honors SEBS and SAS! They are emailing scholarship/financial aid within a week.

Guys, how do you know if you are rejected from honors? Does the portal for Honors/Leadership go blank?

Mine is yellow/orange right now.

I see the honors program invitation for SAS and SEBS - but there is a difference between “honors program” and “honors college”, right? Honors programs are school specific, and honors college combines all of the RU schools and that comes with free ride and you have to live in the new honors college dorm. Am I getting this right? Did some people get into the “program” and others got into the “college”? I am a little confused.

@steelersseven yes they are different, you are correct.

Can someone post a link for the portal please

Not everyone that goes to honors college gets a free ride.
