How come I’m waitlisted at SAS but not SEBS? Is sebs easier to get into? (As in how do my chances look right now :/)

@noelle2017 im soo sorry! Quick question did you apply as eof? I applied regular decision and still havent heard back. Im getting impatient and nervous. Still havent applied anywhere else because im only interested in rutgers!

Im sorry to those who got denied, I got denied from NB SAS myself. Im just waiting on Newark CAS. If anyone wanted to know my stats… High School gpa: 3.094. Fall 2016 semester: 3.046. Didnt submit SAT scores cause i didnt have to.

@Hasanh are only students applying to Ivys allowed to care about their futures? Your post is insensitive to those who have been waiting for news and/or received denials today.
I have a question for those of you that got your acceptances with scholarship report. My son got accepted to all of the schools but there is no indication what the instititutional award will be.
Do you get notified on the same page what your award will be? Did some of you get different awards for each of the different schools? I’m curious how and when we find out about awards.
@reformedman Right now scholarship awards have yet to be officially released. It looks like last Friday morning they accidentally opened the portal but closed it pretty quickly so that’s why some people were talking about scholarships earlier. We’re supposed to find out by the end of the month by email, and staff on Go Rutgers said they’d be out hopefully by the end of this week (so maybe today!)
It seems like lots of people are getting wait listed from NB SAS. It’s making me so nervous cause mine’s still in process, and I already got rejected from rbs.
@Njmom224 I’m sorry to hear that. Me too. I wanted to go in state but NJ sucks. There are no good options here. Now I’m afraid I’m not getting into the other schools I applied to. Where else did your daughter apply?
@noelle2017 I think you tagged the wrong Mom. Fortunately for him, my son was accepted. He only applied RD to three Rutgers options, SAS. Pharmacy, and Camden. He had plans to apply RD to 6 or 7 other schools with apps due in January, but was one of the lucky ones who heard from Rutgers by mid-December. NB was his first choice so he did not apply anywhere else. Where else did you apply? I agree that NJ is a struggle. Did you apply to Rowan. They have done so much in the last 15 years.
@noelle2017 @Njmom224 Sorry to hear about the denials for everyone. It seems like Rutgers is getting more and more competitive and that stinks for in state students. Did you apply to Stockton or Rowan? I have heard good things about those schools. Actually toured Stockton with my son. He liked it but they didn’t have the Major he later decided he wanted.
