That’s how it should be. Mine said “Submitted app” for 3 schools and “In process” for 1 of them. I heard back from all 4.
Received email earlier today to check portal. Admitted to Business. 4.2/3.9, test optional, OOS. Glad to finally hear after applying in October. It took so long that my “heart” is elsewhere now. Unless they wow me with scholarships, I probably won’t attend.
so they are releasing results on daily basis now ?
I think just because it’s the last week they are just releasing as they get them.
Congrats! What were stats?
Has anyone else heard? Still waiting…
still waiting for RBS
same
Still waiting for SAS and SEBS.
Still waiting on SAS and SEBS as well. I’m sure this is just a rumor, but had a friend who works at RWJ tell me they heard (I think they called admissions) that the notification deadline for EA may be extended past the 1/31 date to 2/15. Again, just a rumor but since I have an older kid at SAS and have been experiencing covid-related delays since they started at RU in 2020 I wouldn’t be surprised if they are backed up right now. Keep the faith!
Not just a rumor. Their website says so now:
Early action applicants will receive one or more of the following notifications by no later than February 15: admitted, not admitted, wait list, or deferred to regular decision.
This delay is understandably frustrating for all of you who applied before Nov 1 and haven’t heard yet. But don’t give up hope.
Guidance told my daughter that too. It’s only been since the middle of October for her.
got my decision right now–admitted. but I’ve already been accepted by MHC through ED II!
Congrats! and that’s facts, they took so long to release results that I considered other options. I’ll just see what’s right for me.
And you applied EA to Rutgers, not RD? Which school(s)?
I respect that they did this. Another school my son applied to had 2 dates they were to release EA decisions. After a number of applicants “refreshed” their portals for both of those dates, 5 days later anyone who hadn’t heard got deferred. There’s no question there are record numbers of applicants, but in an age of technology & a pandemic, just send SOME communication.
Do they admit by major in RBS? I thought Ohio state admits by major. Do you know if that matters?
Anyone who heard today, was it for RBS?
My son heard today. Admitted to RBS,SAS and SEB. Bit underwhelming to see no letter of admission. Assume Rutgers admits to school but not major?
Correct.
