NJ Father, thank you for your insight. We are in many threads together.
You commented before about Delaware not being on par with Rutgers. We are looking at computer engineering and UD’s program seems to rated higher than RU’s. Any insight you can share? Thanks.
I believe the comment you are referring to is specific to student profile- not rankings (USNWR has Rutgers Engineering at 45 & UD at 56. general engineering- not specific to Comp ) You can see the profile for Rutgers at this link: https://admissions.rutgers.edu/sites/default/files/2021-09/2021%20Admissions%20Profile.pdf
The top quartile for engineering starts at 35 ACT, whereas UD does not break out by schools (as far as I know), however, a student with a 30 ACT falls within UD top quartile, Rutgers lowest. The other factor that may be important in an evolving field is the amount of research. Pitt, PSU & Rutgers are all members of AAU- UD is not
Chemistry major in-state still waiting…very frustrating. I reached out to admissions asking if there was something else that I needed to do (I applied on Oct. 31) and she said that admissions are being released through Jan. 31. I just think it’s a little ridiculous that some people I know that applied a month or so ago already heard back. I keep trying to tell myself that perhaps it’s by major or program, but the lady on the phone didn’t even seem to know…
My status has been " Submitted App" for two months while have seen some people whose status says “In Process”, so I am a little confused about what the status should be for someone who completed the application.
On the left side of the screen, below “Application Submitted” do you see “Under Review”? And does it have a check-mark? If not, you should probably call the admissions office as there may be items missing.
My daughter applied to three schools, heard from two some time ago- still waiting on the third.
Status for Pharmacy is “submitted app”. Therefore, because it is a shared application I don’t have any concerns
Still haven’t heard back yet for RBS, still says “submitted app” but I got into SAS around a month ago… praying it’s not a bad sign? Anyone know people in the past years who got accepted more towards Jan 31st? I submitted app in October, 4.2 GPA and 1270 SAT (kinda regret sending that score in at this point)
Sorry for not updating, but I also heard back 2 days ago (Thursday). Got into 3 schools at Rutgers NB. (SAS, Business, Nursing) and then Newark I heard back 2 months ago and accepted there too for SAS.
