Rutgers Early Action for Fall 2022 Admission

Just looked at my son’s portal. Rejected from the business school but got into SAS back in January. Must have come through between yesterday and today.

Do you mind sharing what king of grades you have?

Checked the Dashboard and it’s now shows Financial Aid Awards. Haven’t gotten an email so do you think its complete? OOS and no merit.

3.74 uw GPA and 1310 SATs

Where do you see financial aid? D has 2 logins now.

I saw it on the Rutgers portal. Not where you checked your acceptance.

I don’t believe these are fully populated. When I click on “Award Detail and Information” in My FA section ( on My Rutgers) it redirects to a page that shows no awards are available to review. We do not expect need based aid, however, for my older son at Rutgers, I believe we receive a breakdown of expected cost.

yes, what happens when you click on the award detail link just below the green bar?

Says total award and is just the $5,500 unsubsidized loan.

not the green box itself, the link for details should take you to a different page- Is it showing an award letter to view?
Regardless, these activities are on a similar timeline but are different tasks; it may be premature to assume nothing is being offered. Merit should be reflected in the award letter that will be pushed out (hopefully) in the next few days though.

If you click on the green bar is tells you the amount. If you go to award detail it takes you to a page that says required financial aid actions. Not much to do on that page. There is a link up top to Financials. There it lays out basic Tuition of $38,088 and Estimated Living Expenses of $20,520. No detail of living expenses.

Disappointed. Was hoping for merit to bring in-line with PSU. Strong stats and was accepted to 3 schools at Rutgers.

Has anyone heard about Honors yet?

How do u sign in to MyRutgers portal to check Financial Aid status? my son is accepted but he only has credentials for the application portal which doesn’t work on other Rutgers’ sites.

Got my award but it is purely financial aid - no merit. Does anyone know if merit comes out later with an honors college decision? I’m in-state but definitely expected at least some merit.

You have to make a net ID- follow this link

Not sure understood my parts question but it appears we need to wait for the letter to know for sure there is no merit.

I got my award it says Dean’s scholarship, then Dean’s Promise. Sounds like the Dean’s scholarship is merit and the Dean’s Promise is only aid. I am not sure though

Congrats! How were you notified? Email or is the letter posted in the portal?
