You will get in for sure

You will get in but Why Rutgers?
I believe NJIT has a better engineering program at same cost as Rutgers.

@ooohcollege even with my “decent” math score?

I really liked Rutgers when I visited, not to mention the school has a great campus vibe

Rutgers is more well known around the country that NJIT but I agree that you cannot really go wrong with these two schools. Also look into Stevens but that may be a bit too expensive. Your math score seems fine and your in state.

Look up the ranking of NJIT and Rutgers engineering.
But more importantly, look into the placement offices of each school. What companies recruit on campus, etc. Get the job placement statistics.
