@nishaus Yes you can take any major within any school you got into.

@nishaus – As @poetbynature said. You are accepted to the school and may choose any major in that school. For SAS the site says “Full-time students normally declare their major in the second semester of their second year,” and for SEBS it says “First-year students will not officially declare their major until February/March of their second semester.” So you are not admitted to a particular major.

@kijihi You’ll most likely find out through your online status first and then get an email the next day. That’s what happened to me with SAS
@brianw61 and anyone waiting… no worries if you don’t get accepted right away. They do it in batches. My first D applied in August and every single person in her school (it seemed) heard quickly, but she still got in no problem for physics. she heard sometime in January but before the 31st. It was annoying but successful.

I submit my application and everything by EA dead line. However, Rutgers received my Nov. SAT on Dec.2nd
I did sent my October SAT before the EA deadline. So do you guys think that it will delay their decision?

I sent my entire application in on Dec 4th and ACT scores arrived a few days later so I’m not expecting to hear for a while.
almost everyone from my school who even applied regular and after me (i submitted oct. 23 and they received everything on nov 3) i still haven’t heard back. weighted gpa 3.4 (i know awful) but good extracurriculars: swim, student council, volunteering, etc.) and 2000 SAT i don’t think that i won’t get in but i’m really scared because i’m the only one i know that hasn’t heard back yet
i’m in the same boat. i’m in state and submitted oct. 23 and they received everything nov. 3 but i know people who applied later and already heard back…i’m really scared rutgers was supposed to be my safety
