<p>I applied to Rutgers when the app came out and am curious when Rutgers gives decisions. Are they on rolling admissions where they give an offer once the application is in or do they wait until December/January like other schools?</p>
<p>Last year they were rolling admissions. Not sure if that changed this year with the new early action.</p>
<p>My son submitted his application by the December 1st deadline and knew within 7 days for Newark and Camden. It took a bit longer for New Brunswick as this is more the “it” campus, but it came through before the end of the year.</p>
<p>It was rolling in 2009. How fast you hear depends what your stats are. My friend in the IT department at RU said they have an automated program to automatically admit students with statistics above a certain level. (Note this information is from 2009- things could have changed)</p>
<p>If you go to the status page it says applications are continually reviewed once all credentials are received. I’m assuming that means it’s rolling admissions. I applied 3 weeks ago but they just posted that they received my transcripts last week. Not sure how long it takes but I’m a transfer so it might be different for me.</p>
<p>I also applied in September. In another thread someone said they start posting the decisions on October 15 but I couldn’t find this info anywhere else. Hopefully we’ll hear from them soon. :x</p>
<p>I applied for the Spring 11 semester at the Camden campus as a transfer student and I’m currently awaiting a reply. All of my credentials have been received and I’m just “in progress.” Can’t wait to hear a decision.</p>
<p>I submitted my application sept 24, and am still waiting also. Somebody had told me it’s no longer rolling and is early action. However, on the Rutgers site, it says LATEST you will find out is Jan 31. I’m assuming that means we will find out from, i’m guessing oct 15 to Jan 31. gluck to everyone! :)</p>
<p>i applied last year the last week of october and got my answer at the end of the 1st week of november. Look on the status page of your app and if you did everything they will decide soon. You have a higher chance of getting in if you apply early because the seats are open</p>
<p>I just checked the status page for Rutgers and saw that I was admitted to the Camden campus!!</p>
<p>I submitted my application on the 27th and All of my credentials were there by October 5th. </p>

<p>Congrats Moshi, I live about 15 minutes from there. Camden isn’t the best place, but the campus itself is pretty nice.</p>
<p>Still awaiting my reply, but I applied for Fall '11 at New Brunswick on 9/15 and all credentials were received by 9/29. I’m not expecting a decision for at least another month, but they have until 4/15.</p>
<p>Ziggy- I live about 20 from Camden and I plan to take the train in. I’m finishing up my associates at ccc and I’ll be going to rutgers in the spring. I’m an older student and so glad to finally be finishing my degree</p>
