@jnkam24 3.6 uw 4.0 w, 2140 sat (1390 m/cr), strong essay and solid everything else at a pretty competitive high school. i’ve also taken classes at rutgers before, if that helps at all lol. i’m a bit surprised to say the least

Another friend who called got a slightly different response… honors/scholarships will be rolled out until the end of this week. I am fairly certain that the “No aid or scholarship/honors information is available for your record. Please be sure you entered the correct email address and password” is just a pending message.
I got into SAS honors and honors engineering chances I got into honors college
Surprised I got a full ride into business but 19000 from arts and sciences. Business was my third choice too, and arts and sciences was my first.
Surprised I got something. 2100 SAT, $3500 for SAS + Honors program.

@elmstreetking honors college. I’m not sure what the difference is between honors program and honors college though, do you know?
really? I got into SAS honors and Engineering honors but not the honors college: i think the college is like a separate residential area where like students from all different schools live together
I don’t really understand the difference btw the honors programs and college. I think Rutgers has done an underwhelming job with communications, honestly - starting with the “you have not finished your application” errors and next with the “welcome class of 2019” error with admissions. Did those who were accepted to the honors college get an actual electronic invitation as described in the website? Or is it just the notification in the honors program under the update upon login? To the above poster who said he got into honors but not the honors college, are you sure? @elmstreetking I think you might be in the honors college for either of those programs.
It really shouldn’t be this difficult to figure out, Rutgers! Get it together.
I got Scarlet ($3500) for SAS, SOE and Business. (Only SAS has invited me to the Honors Program at the moment…)

6 APs, 3 years athlete, senior school “internship”, etc.
Would I be able to appeal for a better award? I have a $12k scholarship from NJIT, but I’d really prefer to go to Rutgers.
@Michanr It is most likely your low unweighted GPA that caused you to get a small scholarship and it might be a little difficult to appeal. However it doesn’t hurt to try
When will transfer scholarships be given? Also, how will you even be notified?
