hmmm, i havent received anything yet, still says “Status as of Friday, February 9, 2018” “There seems to be a problem…The supplied credentials were incorrect. Please try again.” anyone else have this?
Dang, in that case, I guess I won’t be going to Rutgers. My GPA was probably still too low for a 1540 SAT to balance out. Congrats to those who got scholarships though!
19k from SAS with a 35 ACT, 4.4 GPA. Good luck everyone!!
Very shocked with RBS COA after 13K scholarship to be 15K. My family cannot afford to pay that much! Was offered 0 merit aid for SAS and SEBS.
I received $3,500 Scarlet Award for SEBS plus a $5,500 federal loan, and for SAS just the federal loan. I am not surprised, and grateful for the Scarlet Award.
So thankful my brother got a presidential from both SAS and SEBS. Will attend SAS HC next fall!
Congrats to your brother @Jetsfan1717 thats awesome!
@deb12267 thanks so much!
Do you guys think to pay 22k with 55k annual income and 1460 SAT 4.0 GPA, reasonable according to Rutgers financial aid standards?
@RACOON1012 Rutgers does not meet need, ot doesn’t matter what you can afford. If your income is too high for Pell and such, which it is, they will just gap you, which they did. As for merit, your stats are great, but lots of people with your stats and higher apply to Rutgers, and they only give merit to the very top. For Rutgers, those stats won’t get merit but if cost is an issue, did you apply to Rowan? I’m sure you would get big merit there.
Does anyone know how to obtain a Net Id? It looks like this is needed to upload information to the financial aid website.
Use your RUID (it came with the acceptance to the schools)
I got a 10k a year Rutgers James Dickson Carr Scholarship to SAS and Honors College for New Brunswick and I’m OOS. I’m thrilled that I got something considering that my stats were lower, but it’s still cheaper for me to go to a SUNY
my D got accepted in all three schools she applied and got an honors program in one of them. none gave financial aid. what the heck.
Offered Presidential from SAS and SEBS and $22k from EMSOP.
@RACOON1012 I’d strongly encourage you to write an email to your dean and ask for a scholarship appeal. I did last year, explained my stats and financial situation, and was awarded a Scarlet Scholarship. It helps if you send your scholarship award letters from other schools with the email.
Are these Rutgers scholarship only notifications? Does Rutgers send work study and Pell grants (if elligible) separately?
My daughter received Mason/Gross Honors college and a $16,000.00 trustee scholarship. Very excited for her. She loves their BFA program.
@3sonsmom it’s the entire financial aid package.
Just got my email, BTW.
