last minute decisions. input?

What are you looking for? What do you want to get out of college? Which is cheaper?

Well my problem is that almost everything about the two schools is the same. They're almost the same price (for me, since I'm out of state for both), they both offer a wide variety of majors (which is good for me, because I'll probably change my mind). I want to do something in the social sciences field probably, maybe teaching, maybe communications, maybe psychology etc. One differentiating thing is that Rutgers is more "diverse", but even with this diversity, it has about 92% in state kids, which I could see becoming a problem- maybe a lot of people going home on weekends, or just already having groups of friends.
I want to have fun in college and not be bored but also get a good education, probably just like everyone else. :)

Rutgers is 90% in state... not a big difference, but you might as well have the correct numbers. I would say, in your case, to visit the two again and see what feels right. Delaware has a prettier campus, but Rutgers has a greater mix of different living options... you can choose a suburban campus, Douglass (probably most similar to the Delaware campus) or College Ave, which is relatively urban. There's also the 1/2 hour train ride to the city. Both will give you great opportunities. Also realize that communications and psych are HUGE majors at Rutgers (and probably at Delaware too... though isn't Delaware a much smaller school-- that should be seriously taken into consideration. Bigger schools have their pros and cons, though I believe there are more tick marks on the pro side). The fact that psych and comm are very popular majors means that a lot of your classes will be large, though there will be plenty of opportunities for research in your chosen field, which allows you to make really close contacts with professors in your department. You'll have fun and get a good education at both schools. Again, visit both and see what feels right... I don't think there's any better advice than that.

I actually can't visit both schools again, another thing that is making this decision so hard. About how big would you say the classes at Rutgers get? How often to people go home on the weekends? Do most of the parties really happen in the frat houses (haha, that's what I heard)..? Is taking the buses from campus to campus a hastle? Thanks so much for your help.

Classes can get up to maybe 500 ppl at Rutgers but most of my classes have been relatively small (30 or less). A bunch of people do go home on weekends but at least in my dorm the majority do not. Freshman <3 frat parties but I never did all that much.... I usually just go to parties at other people's houses or just in the dorm.
