Rutgers NB vs Fordham NYC

Which school is more prestigious? Also which has a better undergraduate psychology program?

Any advice? I am having trouble picking.

Thanks

Is cost an issue for you? That’s often something that needs to be considered.

If possible I’d go back and re-visit the two schools and see which one feels like a better fit for you.

I don’t know the answer to your exact questions, but I can tell you that they are very different size-wise. Rutgers is very spread out, you have to take the campus bus to get from one school to the next, and usually from your dorm to your classes.
Fordham Rose Hill is just one big campus, and Lincoln Center is just two buildings in one small space.
My daughter didn’t like the feel at Rutgers. Everything was too spread out.

So it really depends on what you like.

I am from Socal and have visited both schools. I applied to Fordham for the business program and decided not to apply to Rutgers because I was not all that impressed.

My opinion of prestige has to do with the business programs but I feel Fordham is much better than Rutgers. The rankings, atleast for the business school, have fordham in the top 50 in the country and I don’t remember where Rutgers ranked.

What really got my attention was the differences in each schools campus. Rutgers was very spread out and not in the best of neighborhoods. Fordham is very tightly nit (I applied to Rose Hill) in the middle of the Bronx. Yea it may not be the best area but I feel that the Fordham campus was amazing in comparison to Rutgers.
