<p>I am an international applicant and I was curious of your opinion on Rutgers School of Communication, Information and Library Studies. Does the school have a good reputation? How about job prospects?</p>

<p>It has a great reputation: ranked #6 for library/information science programs in the country by US News and #2 for "scholarly productivity" by an independent study in '06. I haven't visited it, but I have submitted my application for an MLS in the department for '09.</p>
<p>What are you interested in? Library Science? Journalism? I'm sure in whichever discipline, you won't have difficulty finding job prospects with a degree from Rutgers. It's not an unknown school.</p>
