Rutgers University Class of 2025 Discussion Thread

Question - so, my daughter was accepted to SAS and SEBS back in mid-December. Finally got a package in the mail and it basically contained a sticker. When will we find out about major and merit?

The deadline was on Nov. 1

Yes but when did the student submit it? September or Oct 31st?

Anyone able to activate Rutgers Ruid portal after ? Do we need to accept to activate ?

I submitted mine mid- October

And still nothing?
Applied with scores too?

Test- optional international student. Got admitted to RBS Newark but RBS NB still says in process

Praying tonight is the night
seems that thursday nights is the pattern but who knows!

Does anyone know when scholarship/honor college info comes out?

Search in this thread - it’s been covered a couple times. As recently as the last couple days. Hopefully that info is what you’re looking for.

anything for anyone tonight?

nope, you?

sadly, nope! i was hoping for something this week
looks like we will have to wait till next week

Nothing yet. I got all my decisions for the other schools that I applied to, but Rutgers is the last one. I just don’t get it. Some departments in Rutgers is way to slow.

seriously, it’s almost been 2 months!

Heard remaining EA decisions come Mid-Feb but not sure

yep, they said by feb 18 but its frustrating seeing people getting decisions while your just waiting!

I just hope that everyone who has decided that they’re not going, has withdrawn their application
maybe then we’ll see more acceptances sooner!!! :frowning: a lot of people forget that state schools are what a lot of people can only afford, so RU is their only choice. It’s not a safety for everyone :frowning:

The problem is folks are also waiting to hear about merit from other colleges. My daughter is basing most of her decision on finances, she’s received packages from about 1/3 of the schools she has applied to. Not all had EA. She got her acceptance from Rutgers weeks ago, no mention on merit or honors. Her twin applied to Rutgers RD, and still hasn’t heard back.

i don’t see a lot of people getting merit aid from rutgers because it is a state school
