Potentially Yes. We’re US citizen. My D and family in India, I’m in between NJ and India. Will find out if they allow us as in state. On a separate note, does any one know if they see FAFSA status as “Complete”. On myRutgers portal, for my D it’s showing as “Incomplete” with reason description as “We have received your FAFSA but you may need to provide additional info. Guidance will be provided to you in coming months by mail”.
I wasn’t aware that we could check the financial aid status at Rutgers yet. Where do you see this?
May I ask what it looks like if you were not invited to any Honors? What appears when I log on is “Thank you for visiting the honors portal. An honors invitation has not been extended for your record. Please be sure you entered the correct login credentials.” Does this mean I am entering in my information incorrectly or does this mean I was not offered anything pertaining to honors?
How do you signup for myRutgers portal ?
Can we signup with out paying deposit or not accepting it ?
@NJcollege2021 you have to enroll in the school, pay $150 fees, wait for 3-4 days to receive your NetID. Then you can log in to myRutgers Portal.
@MomOfSenior2021 on myRutgers portal when you sign in, you can look at financial aid widget . Click on “Track” tab and you will see status of your FAFSA.

Are merit/financial aid offers coming out this week?
According to the Honors email/portal, yes. Not sure what day though, maybe someone who has knowledge of past admissions cycles can give that answer.
From looking at last year’s thread, it looks like Honors notification came out on Feb 13th, and merit came on Feb 18th. This year, Honors notification was on Feb 25th, so maybe merit will come on March 2nd? That’s my best guess, but who knows!
When I log onto my financial aid portal it still says Friday, Feb 26th, is it like that for everyone else?
Ohh - so we can’t check the portal until after we commit to Rutgers?
I called financial aid today and they said they are behind and update to portal should happen next week. Ours also says updated February 26

That’s a bummer, I was hoping it would be this week. I am ready to commit, but my parents won’t let me until I get my financial aid letter.
Do Honors notifications go to only those students who have been admitted to Honors program? OR, would Honors notifications also go to students who have been rejected for Honors?
My daughter logged in and it said she did not get into honors.
OK. Is that update available on the the Login | Undergraduate Admissions Online Application | Rutgers University website? or some other website?

Unfortunately they have all come out. Give admissions a call if you’d like, but I believe invites were sent out in one go.
