We got my sons financial aide package and unfortunately he didnā€™t get any merit at all. He got between 13 and 16 thousand from other schools so Rutgers engineering will be a no go for us at 58 thousand a year OOS.

Just got an email with a link to the financial aid portal. I got the $3.5k scholarship but I was honestly expecting a bit more with my stats. As an in-state student Rutgers is still one of my most expensive options so I donā€™t think Iā€™ll be attending.

Thatā€™s good, Rutgers doesnā€™t give much to in state (like most public universities).

Got the National Scholarship for 8k. Considering Rutgers is very stingy with aid, Iā€™m very happy!

Thanks for sharing the link. We havenā€™t received any email about financial aid at all.

Son got nothing but a federal loan. I didnā€™t realize that we were so rich :slight_smile: Rutgers is now at the bottom of his list. I would send him to a better OOS school as the cost is not so different.

Yeah I also didnā€™t get an email, but once I saw the thread, found something online, accessed mine, and shared.

Sorry to hear you didnā€™t get anything, but definitely, there are better OOS schools out there! I wasnā€™t seriously considering Rutgers before but I got a fantastic aid offer so itā€™s back into consideration now
