Rutgers vs Stevens for Engineering

Hey everyone. I know there probably already are a few threads on this site comparing Rutgers and Stevens, but I'm looking to compare them based only on academics and research. I don't care much about student life, tuition, etc..

I'm going to be studying Biomedical Engineering this fall. Unfortunately, I was rejected from the Ivies, so these two are my best options. Which one do you think has better research and academics? I hope to either transfer or get my masters from a high ranking school (Stanford, MIT, maybe an Ivy), so which of these do you think will help me most in that pursuit? And which do you think has a better Honors Program? Thanks in advance.

If tuition is not an issue, then go to Stevens. Much smaller school and small classes. You will get to know your professors at Stevens which will help you get more research opportunities. Rutgers is a good school, but it is huge and you will hardly get to know any of your professors since each class has at least 200 students.
