Rutgers?!

I live in New Jersey.

GPA: Around a 3.50 maybe a little higher.

SAT: I am taking it again in the fall and planning on doing a lot better and bringing it up to atleast a 1800. But my current score is a 1500.
I am also planning to take the ACT but I haven't yet.

Extracurricular: I am VERY involved in dance.(Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Lyrical, and Competition Company) I am also a part of a history and photography club in school. Outside of school I am a part of a community service club.

Took two years of a language. French (I didn't do so well.) Mostly got C's

Accomplishments: First Place at Co. Dance Competition.
Captain of my dance team.

Other: I am involved in my church (Christian - Methodist) I have helped out there numerous times. I was in altar service for many years, I have also went to food banks with them, helped out in summer programs, etc.

I am also Caucasian. (Italian and Irish)

I want to get into the new brunswick campus.

GPA? Class Rank?

You should work on your SAT score (sounds like you are). Maybe you should even take the ACT? I’ve heard it’s easier in comparison to the SAT.

Rutger’s has a rather high acceptance rate (61%). I think you’ll be fine especially since you’re in-state.

My GPA is a 3.5, I have no idea what my class rank is though.

As long as you bring that SAT up you should be in the clear because your in-state. Rutgers is one of the few well know schools (along with Maryland) that does not accept ACT scores…so if this is the school you want to go to 100%, you may not even need to worry about the ACT.

If you get your scores up to 1800 like you said I think you’re definitely in

Thank you!

Good chance as long as you bring up your scores :)
