Sac State / SJSU Admissions

I'm applying to the schools mentioned above and both are impacted in business. The major that I want is Accountancy.

I'm transferring from a community college (Sac local) and I think my chance of getting into Sac State is 75% (just basing it on my gpa.) Although they haven't released the threshold for Spring 2014 yet.

But for SJSU (Info.sjsu.edu) unfortunately, my GPA didn't make the cut. I have a 2.8 but I really prefer SJSU to Sac State. So my question is.. Can I just select another major and possibly shift to Accounting the next semester when I'm in the college already, assuming I improve on my grades and such?

Also, Finance and MIS are the other majors I want. What's better from the two?

I know I have a crappy gpa. It was hard for me to graduate high school right when I just turned 16 and went into college right away. But yeah, please give me advice on what to do so I can get into the school I want.

bump. Help please.
