major: i'm thinking economics, but i'm not entirely sure

i applied to harvard ea as a recruited athlete, and that is my first choice. but i know that i can get turned down, so what are my chances at:
harvard
yale
princeton
upenn
dartmouth
columbia
stanford
vanderbilt
northwestern
duke
notre dame
georgetown
williams
boston college
university of georgia
ucla

i know it is a lot of schools, so any help narrowing down the list would be great!

a) you're in as a recruited athlete.
b) you stand a 2/3 chance at least at any other school RD. If Harvard does not accept you, then S, P and Y will.

I would be a little careful of declaring an economics minor without an SAT II math. You might think about the IIC - its not that hard to score over 700, and that would give you 3 scores over 700.

i actually did take the sat 2 math IIC- and did horribly. i'm not really thinking too strongly about it as a major or anything, it is just the class i do best in at school and know the most about.

Ok, just don't put it down as a major. If Harvard EA doesn't work out, your RD schools should be ones you like, with a range of competitiveness. With the bizarreness in admissions at the top schools, there is something to be said for applying to a lot of schools - if you can find the time to do a good job on all of them. If money is not a factor, multiple matches - rather than out and out safeties, might be ok.
