Not many schools weigh teacher recs heavily enough to warrant changing your lsit for that sole reason.

I am a junior, very rough outline subject to some change-

Safety: UCSC, U British Columbia

Match: Barnard, Reed, UW Honors, Bryn Mawr

Semi-Reach: Swarthmore, U Chicago (only because they require a math/science teacher rec, damn them), UCB

Reach: Cornell, Brown (because Ivies are reaches for everyone)

I might just boycott the Ivy League altogether when the time comes, I'm not sure.

peindre?: swarthmore, uchicago, ucb(nonresident) are definitely more competitive than cornell. cornell is just a fake ivy. people who go to hyp usually say the name of the school they attend but those who go to cornell usually say they go to an ivy school.

Super Safety: Caltech
Safety: MIT, Harvard, Yale, Princeton

Just kidding.

Oh haha Flippy. Funny.

mynameiszach - Thanks so much for the input. I didn't really think of it like that... I have a few teachers in mind that will probably write decent, but not great, recs for me... so I'll just make sure I'll ask those particular ones to write recs for schools that are more a "safety" for me...

Thanks again. :)
