What are some good safety or really good chance options for me? (I'm in CA if that is relevant)

Major and budget please…

major probably neuroscience or some biological science. budget would be <60k, but relying on financial aid/scholarship

You have some of the best med schools in the country in-state: Stanford and UCSF. Based on your GPA, SAT, and EC’s, you probably have a fair chance. Out of state consider Johns Hopkins

UCSF is a grad school and John’s Hopkins and Stanford are not low matches or safeties to anyone on this planet.

Duke seems like a low reach

Alright buddy, I suggest you do your research and present CC with a bunch of schools that you feel will be your safeties, and we will collectively give you our opinions on whether they are safeties or not.

Even if you type out a 100 different schools, we will help you with each and every one of them, but asking us to list out safeties won’t work out (which you can notice through the replies)

I can’t believe people want to be chanced for UCSF for undergrad. There has to be a good Cal State for pre-med, but you might want UCSD.
