Safety School Suggestions? Pre-Business and/or Liberal Arts

Hi guys!

I’m having a lot of trouble on finding the right safety schools for me. I am planning on majoring in Economics at a liberal arts college (and maybe double major in Biology), or majoring in a business degree at a medium sized university.
The colleges that I’m already considering are:

Not Final List-
Colgate University
Emory University
Boston College
Lehigh University
Lafayette College
Villanova University
Wake Forest University
Union College
Smith College
College of Holy Cross
Fordham University

Those are all reaches/matches for me and I’ve only looked at Purdue so far for safeties but I don’t like how large the school is. I’m thinking about Purdue because they issue merit aid scholarships if I apply by Nov. 1. It’d be best if the school is located in the Northeast or Mid Atlantic (but that’ll be stretch). In addition, I’m looking for safeties that provide promising aid, have strong departments in my intended majors, and have high starting career salaries. I am more open-minded about safeties in terms of types of curriculum (liberal arts vs university).

Thank you for helping!
*And how many safeties should I plan on applying to? Two? Three? Thanks for your input.

Salary is more a function of the major, rather than of the school.

What’s a “safety” is dependent upon your stats. What’s a safety for one candidate may be a match or reach for another.

Consider, also, the schools on this list:

These could be options-
Loyola Maryland
Providence

To be a safety a school must also be affordable (otherwise it’s just a waste of app fees). How much can your family afford?

No school is a safety if it just known for providing “promising aid.” That is no guarantee for you.

Safeties much be known FOR SURE to be affordable; otherwise they can’t be safeties. How much will your parents pay each year? What are your scores? Will you be retesting?

Miami of ohio would be a lock for adnissions…beautiful school with good business…you’ d likely get some merit aid.

What do you need your net cost to be? (How much will your parents pay each year?)

What are your stats?

What is your home state?
