<p>does anyone in here sail? not simple sailing but actual racing?</p>

<p>I'm not a goalie. I used to play soccer in 7th-10th grade outside of school.</p>

<p>Yeah I sail. My dad's a coach at MIT.</p>

<p>(yeah I race, too.) Not as much now as I used to because my school doesn't have a team so I only do it in the summer.</p>

<p>I hardly play sports any more :( except tennis in the spring and summer, and running a bit.</p>

<p>Well if I"m sailing at mit, I usually sail their school boats, tech dingheys. Otherwise I'll sail 420s. I also sail lasers and used to sail optis quite a bit.</p>

<p>yea i raced optis for 3 years. i went to nationals and orange bowl twice. i qualified for team trials but chose not to go...i qualified the last summer i planned to sail optis and knew i would be too tall and wanted to sail 420s</p>

<p>sailing sounds kind of fun. i need to do a sport i feel lazy. what to do what to do?</p>

<p>sailings fun. alot of people dont think its an active sport and say sailors are lazy, but to really sail you need to be in shape.</p>

<p>I don't race though because I don't own my own boat and the sailing club is currently disbanded at my college.</p>
