Did Anyone Win???

I was turned down as well. It doesn't say why, but I come from a two-parent (but 3 sibling) family with a combined income of less than $30,000. And I had a high school GPA of 4.0 and ACT score of 30?!?!? And my financial aid package is definitely short by more than $1,000. I don't know what they were looking for.

Maybe they had way more applicants than they could manage. By the way, did you get the byrd/bright flight scholarship. Those are pretty easy to get.

I didnt get anything in the mail, yet! not even a rejection letter! however, i applied last year and i received a rejection letter some where around late july! I live with a single mom, i only had a 2.5 i am the only in the house in school and my mom doesnt work, she is disabled and only gets social security

bump........................

blah. i didnt get it. my parents make 22,000 a year and i'm 10,000 dollars short. what a bummer

What were they looking for?

I just won 2100. My GPA is only a 3.2.

I'm a little new to this message board but I happened to apply to this scholarship. Do they notify everybody on if they won or not?
