SAN DIEGO STATE 2021 RESULTS THREAD

@santafriedrice No idea what it means bud. Many qualified applicants status’s changed. Also many other qualified applicants status’s didn’t change. Might as well just wait.

@LanaDelTaco What are you stats and what major did you apply for?

well shoot I’m guessing no change in status means rejected?

@uclahopefull ACT 27, CSU GPA 3.92, major Mechanical Engineering

Until you have a decision, there is no reason to already determine you have been rejected. The change of status means nothing, just like the housing email “trick” for UCSD. My younger son was admitted to SDSU 3 years ago and his status did not change until the day he was accepted.

@LanaDelTaco None of us know for sure so don’t think of anything yet. You’re definitely competitive.

Decision: ACCEPTED
CSU GPA: 4.12
ACT: 29 (30 E 31 M 27 R 26 S 9 W)
Intended Major: Computer Science

Accepted into Honors College too!!

Just wanted everyone to know my friend got recruited by SDSU and her coach guaranteed she would be accepted, but she has not heard back, so if you haven’t heard back that doesn’t mean you got denied!

I got Accepted back in December.
in state
Major: undeclared
Act:28
Sat:1290
Weighted gpa : 4.13

Also accepted into honors

I applied for ISCOR (international security and disaster readiness) and was wondering how competitive it is to get into?? SDSU is my #1 and I have a 3.6 and a 1170 on the SAT.

I’m super stressed and SDSU is my dream school but I’m not sure if my chances of getting in are good enough.
My Stats are 3.72 GPA (W) and new SAT score of 1120 and my intended major is Biology for Pre-Med but I hear that most rejection letters come in March so hear I am waiting and waiting. I also applied for the EOP program, would that increase my chances as well?

^^^^ me too 3.82 gpa (w) 28 Act… applied for business finance. I check my portal and these forums 24/7.

@KNBrown99: SDSU like all CSU’s (except SLO) admit by Eligibility index and major.

(CSU GPA x800) + (SAT Math+CR)= (3.72x800) + (1120)= 4096. Around a 4100+ EI is competitive for SDSU, so you are on the edge. With Biology being one of the most applied majors at SDSU, I would say 50/50 chance unless you are local, then you have priority.
According to application data, 6649 applicants applied for Biology last year with around a 35% acceptance rate.

Good Luck.

@Uie5050 I did finance too with 3.73 and 1200

My status changed and my major is Nursing.
CSU GPA 4.08
ACT 31, EI 1126
SAT 1280, EI 4544
Assuming they will take ACT EI which is higher?

Also, I checked the CC threads and the last 2 years for Nursing Yes decision came out the last Thurs of Feb and rejections the following Mon. So I am hoping on either late this week for next week for decisions! Good luck everyone!!

I emailed admissions and the admission status date change just means your application has been sent to the nursing department

@davisgirl when did it change?

@Nurse2017 mine changed Feb. 14. My major is pre-nursing

Mine also Feb 14. @sdsunursing , what are your stats? My guess is the status changed on those accepted, but it’s just a guess. I hope we will be classmates together!!

@davisgirl 4.07 27 ACT. Low ACT which kills me but lots of APs. Attend a top 75 HS in California

Edit: Hs rank
