On the San Diego state university portal it says that my admission status is still pending yet I received an email that I may be eligible to receive a certain scholarship for their school. Does this mean I have been accepted?
No, they send out emails to all prospective students/applicants since many of the scholarship deadlines are before acceptances are posted. Your admission status should state "admitted"if you are accepted.
