Santa Clara University vs University of Washington vs UC Santa Cruz for Computer Science

Right now I’m leaning toward UCSC because it’s cheaper but I like SCU and UW. I know that UW and SCU are great schools but they didn’t give me much scholarship or financial aid.
Can you guys give an argument for any of the schools that I listed?

Net costs after financial aid?

Also, do you have direct admission to the CS major at each school?

Argument for UCSC: instate tuition and proximity to Bay Area.

@ucbalumnus CSE at SCU, preCS for UCSC and Pre-sciences for UW

@harvardandberkeley UW: $50551/ year, SCU: $63,539/ year and UCSC : $36,159/ year

Compared to UCSC, UW is more expensive and much more difficult to get into the CS major after enrolling.

For UCSC, you need a 2.80 GPA in prerequisites to declare the CS major. Being in the major already at SCU is better here, but the $108k higher cost over four years is a big disadvantage if your family is not made of money.
