<p>For the True or False part, I'm having trouble with the concept-- so for instance, can the first statement be false and the second statement be true? If so, in what instance? In all my practice tests, they have all been double false.</p>

<p>They can be. Think of either statement as a separate true-false question. Answer them both. If you answered TRUE for both, then put them together as a sentence, and if the sentence makes sense (chemistry-ly speaking), put CE. So there are 5 possible answers:</p>
