Should I send my math 2 score if I got a low 600 on it? My math 1 score is in the 700-range. Will it hurt me if I send in my math 2 score to a higher tier university? Or should I not send it at all?

Sorry to hijack your thread, but I have the same question too. I got a 680 on the math 2 (57 percentile) and a 700 on the math 1 (83 percentile), which one should I send?

Don’t send at all if not required.

But I would say yes send the math 1 score, No? I mean as long as it isn’t to a tippy top most selective school and the students aren’t majoring in math/CS/engineering?

I got similar scores, a 660 in math 2 and a 710 in math 1. I personally sent in both to Caltech because they only consider Math 2 but I wanted them to at least see my Math 1 score. To Princeton and my other similar tippy-top schools, I only sent in math 1 because they didn’t have specific requirements, as long as the tests were related to one’s intended major. I also sent in both to MIT because they only consider the highest but I wanted them to see that I did attempt Math 2.
In short, it depends on each individual school.
Basically it shows you are better in Math before pre-calc.
