Sat, Act, Ap...

... OMG...

Heh-heh.

All joking aside, I have a problem. I'm a very nervous person and these tests just destroy me for that reason. For example, I currently take 5 APs in my junior year and will take probably the same amount next year. My grades are practically perfect, so far weighted at above 4.5, but I freeze completely. When I took the SAT II chemistry last year I felt like I was just going to die from my nerves eating me away.

Does anyone have any tips for remaining calm during these tests, especially for someone that becomes nervous easily? That's probably the only thing holding me back from doing exceptionally well. Most of my peers are often perplexed by this situation, as I'm probably within the top 10 of 1262.

1262!! thats a huge class.

Buy loads of practice tests and take them under real conditions. Find out what your brain automatically tells you as soon as you enter the testing room and get rid of that automatic message. Dig to the roots.

Indeed. Do you have any suggestions for recreating the testing scenario? I mean, before I took that Chemistry SAT II I took at least 8 practice tests for it. The difference was immense. Not in difficulty, but of how the scenario felt. ::Sigh::

omg 1,262 is an enormous class. Geez, I thought I went to a big high scool with a TOTAL of 2,000 students. You must be one smart cookie to be ahead of 1,252 souls.
