SAT/ACT dilemma for Caltech

bad news is I got a 2160 on the SAT, but the good news is a 35 on the Act
Will Caltech see my low SAT score regardless of my ACT? Will it affect me?</p>

<p>Caltech “recommends” you send all scores, so I would just send in the SAT; Caltech will really consider your ACT score though.</p>

<p>No, Cal Tech says send EITHER. And send every score in EITHER. So if you took the ACT 3 times and want to send that good ACT, you send all 3 of those sitting, no need for the SAT. Same goes for the other. but you do NOT need to send both, you get the option.</p>
