Say I got a 36 w/ 10 essay on the ACT and a 2300 w/ 11 essay on SAT.
What would you do? Would you send both, or just the ACT? Why?
All colleges say they weight them the same, is that true?
Thanks.

Sorry, btw the SAT was 1510 (CR+M). Thanks.

Your ACT score is decidedly better than your SAT score; so if you were to send only one, it should be the ACT. However, your SAT score is good enough that sending that as well would certainly have no negative impact on your application. If I were you, I would not send the SAT score, but, again, there is no harm in doing so.

That is indeed their official position. We do not know this to be necessarily true. If it is false, however, any preference for the SAT would be very minor and likely negligible.
