Can somebody give me a link to a site which provides the standardized tests that are required/recommended by college?

Thanks

Not that simple:

You have colleges that do not require any tests. you can find a list by Googling Fairtest.

You have a small number of colleges such as Middlebury and NYU that have different alternatives for meeting a test requirement, e.g., you can submit ACT or SAT or SAT IIs or (in NYUs case) AP scores. Those are also listed at Fairtest but you need to check colleges’ websites to determine exactly what they accept.

Then you have the majority of colleges that require either the SAT or ACT and do not use SAT IIs for admission. (There is no college left in the nation of any ranking that will not take either of those tests and it is a myth that colleges give the SAT greater weight over the ACT or vice versa). I am not aware of any particular list of those but you can usually reach the conclusion of which they are by eliminating those in lists you find at Fairtest and the site I will give you in paragraph 4 below.

Then you have the colleges that either require, recommend or consider SAT IIs while also requiring either the SAT or ACT. For that list go here (updated annually and thus it could be missing one or two changes not accounted for yet): [Compass: Admissions Requirements](<a href=“SAT Subject Test Requirements and Recommendations - Compass Education Group”>SAT Subject Test Requirements and Recommendations - Compass Education Group). You should also see on that list that there is an * next to the number of SAT IIs in the required column for some of the colleges. The * means SAT IIs are required only if you submit SAT and thus you can submit ACT without submitting and SAT IIs.
