SAT/ACT score submissions?

Schools such as Yale, Cornell and Columbia require that students submit all SAT/ACT scores.
Is is possible or an applicant NOT to send ANY SAT marks and only submit ACT marks?
I'm asking this because I've written both the SAT and the ACT and my ACT marks are good while my SAT marks are not so great.
Also, how can colleges tell how many tests you have taken. I know this may sound unjust, but students can technicallytake 5 tests and submit only 1-2 scores and say that that is all the tests they took, right? or wrong lol?

Thanks,

you can choose to submit either the SAT or the ACT. The SAT scores will, however, be sent along with your SATII scores. I doubt theyd take it into consideration. But then again, the whole world is about impressions. SAT scores say alot about you so…
