sorry if this thread has been made already, but I just applied to columbia ED and sent my ACT and SAT scores 3 days ago. however, they usually take around a week to get to Columbia. Would columbia be lenient about this, or would this mean i'm going to fail for sure in ED?

No. Don't fret. When applying Early Decision, the deadlines only count for sending application part 1 & 2. It shouldn't be a problem if the recommendations, SAT/ACT scores, and other supplements are sent in say a week or two after the deadlines. Just as long as they receive everything in time before they make decisions. It will be fo your best interest to send everything as early as possible.

House of London - then, will november scores be counted? I mean, the instructions say never to rush scores and the students are notified of their scores around november 22. that means, columbia would receive the scores close to december 1st, a month after the deadline...

The admissions committee does not even meet until the end of November. If they say they accept November scores you are fine
