Sat/act?

If my ACT/SAT scores aren't exactly in the range they should be, should I even risk applying?

I have an extensive list of extra-curriculars, and lots of volunteer hours, etc.

Should I even try applying, or would it just be a waste of time?

if i were you i would go ahead, What do you lose?

/

depends.

if you have a 34, +/- 2 points, then sure, go ahead.

if you have a 30, +/- 2 points, then go ahead, but be warned.

if you have a 28 +/- 2 points, then it’s a REALLY long shot

if you have >26, then nope.

you mean <26. and don’t worry xx03claudia29xx, ACT and SAT aren’t everything. If you have a lot of other things under your belt and can show that you can balance grades and life, you still have a chance. They’ve been known to turn away people with a 36 many times and accept some with 30’s or lower. Just prove that you would be an asset to the Harvard community by your determination and ability. Now if you don’t have good grades or just take really easy classes along with a lower ACT, that’s a different story. But I’m assuming you do well in school in some very difficult classes or else you wouldn’t be on this site.
