<p>Would taking both improve chances of getting into a college? I know colleges only require one, but most of my friends took both.. is it supposed to help?</p>

<p>It won't really help to take both... just send them the highest score. I don't know for sure, but I don't think sending two good scores will help any more than sending one. Standardized testing requirements are just to make sure your skills are up to par with the rest of the applicant pool.</p>
<p>If you do equally well in both, there is no reason not to send them both. They are slightly different tests.</p>
<p>Take practice tests and see if you like one test more than the other or score higher on one.</p>
