Are you more competitive in college if you send both act and sat score if they are about the same? Or it makes no difference than sending just one act or one sat score if you don't score as good as the other one??

I think that if you can both succeed in the ACT and SAT it is impressive; the statistics I don’t know, but if you could take both, do well in both, and keep up a high GPA, do it.

But isn’t it better to just concentrate one of them and get better score than get two good ones but not good as the one of them??

Some people just naturally have an inclination for one or the other, so it’s generally wise to take both. If one does prove to be significantly better, you should stick with that one, and if you plan on retaking, focus on that one. If you take both and do equally well, AND are content with your scores, I think sending them both would be a good idea. From my practice thus far, I’ve learned I’m more of an SAT guy myself, so I’ll just be focusing on that one.

So whats ur answer?

If you take both and get a better score on one, send that one. If the scores are roughly equal, even after retakes, send both. The decision for whether you retake one or both (assuming you do choose to retake) is entirely up to you.

Just curious. How did you decide that you are more of sat guy instead of act?
