SAT again or SAT IIs?

SAT (march) 1620

ACT (june) 26

ACT (sept)
SAT/SATII (oct)
ACT (oct...depending on if my score for september was not where I want it to be)

None of the schools I'm appying to REQUIRE SAT IIs, but for about 3 of 9, they are recommended. Should I take the SAT or SATII?

Standardized tests are the low point of my application :(

I feel like I might do better on the SAT now that I have some experience with taking standardized tets, but then again, IDK if I should just take my ACT and then use SAT IIs to supplement my application.

What should I do? Take the SAT again or take the SAT IIs (literature, math 2, spanish)

I believe that there’s also a date in november for a second chance so if your taking Sat subjects this october take the reasoning on November(for improving).

I’m applying early decision and most of my apps are due december 1st so I don’t wanna test in november lol

Is your current SAT! in range for your early schools?

Retake the SAT without a doubt. It is imperative that you do particularly if it remains a weakness to your application. SAT subject test scores are nice but recommended is a distant priority from “very important.”

If your SAT score is above the 75th percentile for the schools you want to go to, you could perhaps move on to SAT IIs. If your SAT score is below the median for the schools you want to go to, I think you should try to improve your SAT score by retaking it.

Okay well I already submitted my registration for the SAT IIs lol, is there any way I could change it to just the SAT, free of charge?

See what your guidance counselor thinks you should do.
