When I send my SAT II score reports, will the colleges see my SAT even though I don't wish to send it to them? It's just that I received 1820 the first time, then an 1840 on the second time and my ACT is much better. Please help.

The short answer is: Yes, if you send your SAT II score report, colleges do see the SAT Reasoning scores.

That said, if you did much better on the ACT, your low SAT scores shouldn't be too much of a problem for most schools. Also, do the schools you're applying to require SAT IIs regardless of whether you took the ACT? You might want to look into that if you really don't want them to see your SAT I scores.

Yes. All scores from all SAT tests (I and II) that you've previously taken will be sent. There is no score or test choice.

Don't worry about it if your ACT score is much better. "We consider a student's best scores" is the usual answer from college admission officers about their policies.

Thanks people. NYU is one of the schools that requires my SATII scores.
