SAT based scholarships?

Are there any scholarships out there based on SAT scores? Mine aren't phenomenal.. But I was wondering if it would be possible to receive any sort of financial aid for those scores, or for good SAT scores in general.

CR: 680
Math: 670
Writing 680

Depending what state you’re in,
You might be eligible for NMF, and then many schools will offer you merit aid.

Well I’m from VA if that matters. & sorry, but what does NMF stand for?

NO.

National Merit status is based on PSAT score. You have to be a NMSF first, based on PSAT.

What is your GPA? Is this from ONE sitting?

You have a 1350 M+CR. That’s good for merit at some schools, but you’ve missed some deadlines.

Try…Arizona State, Miss State, Truman State, UAB…and hopefully, someone can name some others.

How much merit do you need?

From other posts I believe that Enifrica is currently a HS Junior.

If she’s a junior, then she has time to increase her scores a bit.

Enifrica…what is your PSAT?

What is your GPA?

Are you going to test again?

Also take the ACT.

My PSAT scores are practically the same, and I’m taking the SAT again on the 28th. It is after one sitting, and I haven’t done much formal studying. My GPA is low, a weighted 3.8

& Whatever money I can get. From what I’ve read, I’m nowhere near qualifying for National Merit.

You’d need about a 218 in VA to qualify for national merit.

Many, many merit scholarships – at both public and private colleges – are based on SAT (or ACT) scores (usually along with GPA and/or class rank. CCers often put too much weight on stats when evaluating their “chances,” but stats are very often the determining factor in divying up merit scholarships and grants.

Along with the other schools mentioned, University of Alabama and University of Dayton come to mind…(very different schools, but both with some automatic scholarships) also Indiana I think…
