SAT BB Math Questions help needed

Section 2, Test 7,

The three distinct points P, Q, and R lie on a line l; the four distinct points S, T, U, and V lie on a different line that is parallel to line l. What is the total number of different lines that can be drawn so that each line contains exactly two of the seven points?

Okay so the answer I know is 12, and I had that at first, but I changed my mind and put 17 because I thought line PQ, QR, ST, TU, UV would count. But why would they not count as lines?

Section 8, Test 7,

If xy=7 and x-y=5, then (x^2)(y)-(x)(y^2)=

a. 2
b. 12
c. 24
d. 35
e. 70

tnsx

a line extends infnitely on both sides, so PQ would contain P, Q, R, S and T too.

xy=7 and x-y=5

(x^2)(y)-(x)(y^2)= xy(x - y) = 7*5 = 35

Is that all, any more?

basically it is for now i guess haha thank you, i upload one pretty often
