SAT Bio November 5 2011

the one with he bacteria plate, was it because A had antibiotic or something?

^ that’s what I put

Btw, approximately what number was the organ development question? I don’t remember that question at all o_o

What did you guys put for the question that asked about some condition that can only be observed in heterozygous individuals and their offspring was 2/3 affected 1/3 not.

@Yulesh

I said that individuals that are homozygous dominant weren’t viable(?)

If you remember anything else, PM me!

Does anybody remember what the exact question and choices were for the homeostasis question?

I know one was “secondary sexual characteristics”

which questions did u find extremely difficult ?

for the question :

what is the organ that if it had a problem would not allow for regular immune response?

anyone remember the choices ?

this question was weird …

^ I put thymus. According to Barron’s, the thymus gland produces the hormone thymosin which stimulates T lymphocytes as part of the immune response.

@crisronaldo it was thymus

guys…I’m REALLY freaking out right now. I don’t remembering a question about the immune response(any more details to help me remember??? Was this the hemoglobin set of questions?), wind for plants, or embryonic development. I took M and did #1-60 and 80-100. WHAT IS GOING ON?!

collegeinfo- I took M too and didnt have the immune response question either. im guessing it was in the E section

Good, gooood.
Did you have one about a squid and clam and what family/class they were from? I didn’t.

Do they have to provide the same E/M question pool for everyone, or is it possible that we have a couple of different questions?

squid and clam are mollusks

I know, but I’m worried because I didn’t have that question!

Not an international student, by the way

Was the least effective at carrying oxygen, sample 1 and 5?

Sample 1’s kinda looked weird
sample 5 had less than others.

yea. i think the size of is rather small. packing less hameoglobin and 5 is simply less than the others. so i put 1&5…god bless me. guessing all the answers…

btw, i suddenly recall that i put savannah(wt exactly is the spelling)…and indeed i dont think bears and maple appear in africa…do they?

i’m pretty sure the answer to the black bear, maple tree question was deciduous forest.

I think so, collegeinfo. I’m freaking out, though. I already registered to take it again.
