SAT II Monster problem

Okay I am really sad today after seeing bio and us history sat II scores...

I am going to retake the bio but was wondering if I should take chem or physics instead.

As for US History I was wondering if I should take Lit. instead in October...what should I do ppl help me or all my hopes for good college will be forever gone???

Ok....what were you're scores. I also took History and Bio.

history 650
bio 670 --> this really sucks

ye, i got 680 on bio....bio sucks! all my friends got 660-690...we're all smart, ALL OF US>>> all of us here...***....but im not retaking it, and i will send it to cornell and others if i dont get accepted early decision cornell

i am retaking bio and lit in place of history most likely

Ugh, I'm joining the "Lament over mediocre SAT II's Club." I scored a 730 in American History, and a 700 in biology. I can't tell you how mad I am about my biology score; on practice tests I would score 750+ easily. I don't know, maybe it's this site that gives me the heebie jeebies. Nevertheless, I'm retaking biology; good luck to you guys as well.

I had never looked at a practice SATII bio test before the actual test... I bought one review book but never opened it because I was too busy reading Cliffs for the AP test and 5 steps for the US test.

I pulled a 700. I'm actually one of the smarter kids in my Bio class, but everyone surpassed me.

Dang it. Should have looked at a few practices!!! :(

Dudes I scored a 770 US-H and a 760 Bio-M on the practice tests I took the day b/f the test. Ended up with a 710 and 690.

Wait wait, so are you taking it again? Bio i mean.....pentasa and longislandgirl?

Yeah I'm taking Bio again. I'm pretty convinced that was just a really hard test. I owned the practice test out of Real SAT IIs, so I'm skeptical.

Can anyone recommend the most realistic tests from a prepbook for Biology and Math IIC?

Doubt it. I'm fine with my score.

However October will come around and you might find me sitting in a chair AS A SENIOR KDGHKJFHKDJGH taking the bio. Because I'm compulsive.

I'm not sad anymore...I am determined to study like crazy (and actually do practice tests) this time so I can secure a good score...I'm happy skewl is out and it's summer WOOT WOOT!!!

well goodluck, unfortunately, i cant possibly take it over again due to conflicting timing with SAT I

blake, get on aim.

i wanna start the "im going to this Ivy ___" :P

I'm taking sat I in october likely but sat ii's in November and rush it in for EA. You can do stuff in November and Oct. AND satisfy requirements for ea.

Bklyn2Cornell you can still retake sat II's in November I'm 95% sure...

well ye, but i plan to take math in nov, and ill forget bio seriously...i will, cus ill be taking 3 aps next year....physics, english and euro...bio will slip my mind completely

Come to think of it don't worry that bio score will not have a major admissions impact at all- your ecs and other stuff will be much bigger....
I have stopped fretting over my score- just gonna make sure I do well on all other sat tests I have in the future as opposed to worrying about my past shortcomings on these tests...

just try to do your best on the math sat II part....a high math score will quickly steal attention from other scores to admissions committies :)

sat and sat ii's are overrated..they matter less than most ppl think for college admissions... they are still important but they are not HUGE factors by any means...

i agree...i have awesome ec's...thats y i definately am not retaking bio...its totally not worth it

I vote for Rusen Meylani's tests for 1C and 2C

I think you are right pentasa! It must be the harsh curve to explain it because I was getting 750+ on bio-m practice test from CB and got a lower 670 on May 7th :( Evil Curve....
