SAT Bio November 5 2011

Idk if it is pyruvate though. I put it down because the others either had nothing to do with respiration or they were the reactants…lol.

Sent from my SPH-M920 using CC App

Anyone know the answer to the question a controlled experiment is…
I put tests only one variable because that sounded right (without checking the other options T_T) is that wrong?

me too…looks like there isnt any better answer. i did check the other options but i dont think it has something to do with controlled experiment.

Anyone remember the question asking which factor affects evolution the least??
I was really confused 'cause almost every answer below could possibly be right, including:
natural selection, mutation, migration…
PS. I did Bio E

^

from the 3 choices u put and in general … mutation is the most probable answer …

becz the rate of mutation is so small … that it is almost insignificant … the rate of mutation is around 1/100000

Anyone remember the one about a mutation that resulted in a cell losing its capability of transferring something from the inside of the cell to the outside…what part of the cell did this likely effect? Was is golgi body since it does the packaging and shipment?

(cell membrane and the such were not choices)

golgi apparatus, definitely.

crisronaldo:
That was what I put…! and yes, I think it was because probability is very small, too~
I asked my biology teacher yesterday and he said all of them were important blahblahblah…+_+
Thanks~

What was the answers for the blood samples questions that had %blood volum, RBCs, WBCs etc in nov 5 test?

This thread is making me really discouraged! I’m hoping for a 730. I got a 5 on the AP Bio exam without that much prep so I thought this wouldn’t be a big deal. Guess I was wrong.

^ same here. Exact same here. (but I took the exam two years ago, haha)

About E part, international
a question asked which one statement was NOT included in Darwin’s theory…
anyone remember that?
I remember one of the choices was"all animals tend to reproduce more"or sth. like that…
and another one is “beneficial alleles/genes are more likely to be passed on”…
I don’t remember the details…can anyone suggest an answer?

Does anyone actually remembers a lot of the questions and the answers? I would REALLY appreciate it if anyone can tell me what some of the questions were and what the answers were!

You do realize that you agreed not share information about the questions/answers on the test?

710 on bio! So happpy wooo

retaking, as I expected.

740

790 on E. Stupid sparrow question killed my 800.

I got 790 on Bio eco. I omitted two questions, and probably missed one or two besides that.

680 (on Ecology) but I’m only a third of the way through AP Biology. Will retake, most definitely.
