How closely do SAT Biology E/M prep books like Barrons, Princeton Review, etc. reflect the actual tests? I know that some prep books for SAT I have been known to be quite off from the actual and would like to get your feedback on this.
I used Barron’s test prep to prepare for the Biology M SAT Subject Test and I found the practice tests in Barron’s much more challenging than the actual test. I feel like that is the best-case scenario, because if you prepare with overly hard practice tests, you will certainly be overly prepared for the actual test. Also, the content review goes much more in depth than it needs to. Although I did not use Princeton Review, I have heard that the Princeton Review practice tests for Biology E/M are of very similar difficulty to the test.
