i've been studying for the bio SAT with Barron's, have taken a practice test and done all of the practice questions. when i went online the other day to do the practice questions on Collegeboard.com, they seemed a lot from the questions in barron's, like really using different terms for certain things. has anyone used barron's too and already taken the bio SAT? did it work out or were the questions a lot different?

I took the Bio SAT in October and used both Barron’s and Princeton Review to study. I got a 740, which is not great for the amount of preparation that I did, but still good for me because I was really scared I scored below 700. I think that the questions can be quite different from the actual test (Barron’s seems to put more emphasis than necessary on unimportant concepts), but still take the practice tests nonetheless. It all depends on the actual test - usually, it is said that the Barron’s practice tests are harder than the real thing, but it was the opposite for me in October. Good luck!

Yeah i also took the Bio SAT in October, i got a 720 and i solely used the Barrons Book.

It’s practice tests are about the same as the real thing, but i found some questions on the real one incredibly weird. I would say use barrons and something else, if you wanted a 750+ like me -_-, but i self studied basically so take that with a grain of salt.
