<p>Hi I was just wondering, do colleges look at each sections of the SAT separately or do they combine math&verbal, or do they now combine all 3 sections? I heard most colleges look at the combined math&verbal.. but I just wanted some verification. Thanks! =)</p>
<p>I think they look at them separately. For example, an 1800 SAT score with 600 in each section would probably be looked at more favorably than an 800, 800 and 200.</p>
<p>They look at the sections separately but they also look at your total combined score to get a sense of your overall ability.</p>
