So I took the January SAT and I got a 670 math and a 590 CR. This was my first time taking it. But the problem is that everytime I take a practice test my math scores fall in the 680-720 range and my reading scores fall in the 580-620 range, with an occasional 640 or something but that's very rare. I have the blue book and I constantly practice (I took all 10 tests) but my score doesn't seem to improve, and a lot of people always say "Practice for the SAT will improve your score, guaranteed". I've been practicing and yet no change in result. I was hoping for a 1400 CR and math but that seems really difficult to get considering my recent scores on practice tests and the January SAT.

Math is especially frustrating because sometimes it's a geometry problem, sometimes it's a dumb mistake and sometimes it's just running out of time or not checking my work or something. I can't exactly pinpoint the problem.

I got a 700 on writing, but some of the schools I want to apply to do not take into consideration the writing portion of the SAT lol. So I just wanted to ask, is there any way I can improve my math and CR scores? Like any books in particular, like Kaplan, PR. I only have the blue book and a couple Barron's workbooks right now, but I know a lot of people talk about SAT vocab books for CR and practice tests for the math. Any help is greatly appreciated, and thanks for taking time to read this :)
